(Keg at Black Door, 2013122) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had tar, smoke and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were smoke, tar, sweetness, ash, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky, ashy and bitter. A balanced but a bit too burnt brew.

Dark ruby-brown color, good beige head. Caramel, sweetish malty nose. Medium-bodied. Caramel, rye and juniper in the flavor. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Clean and easy but same time strong beer. I liked it and it is perhaps the best beer from Rekola so far.

Draught@HBF. Slightly hazy amber color, good white head. Ryeish aroma, maltyness. Medium-bodied. Lemony hoppyness, ryeish maltyness. Citrus, light resin. Very American, a bit boring.

Dark reddish color, small white head. Berryish, sweetish aroma with some spiceyness - maybe spruce sprout, hints of resin. Light bodied. Spruce sprout flavor is dominant. Berryish sweetness, low bitterness. Interesting brew, but not enough substance to carry to the end of the bottle. Also quite flat, could use more CO2.

Bottled 500ml @Beer Hunters
Dark amber color, decent beige head. Candy sugar, yeasty, some raisins. Medium-bodied. Caramel, "Abbey yeast", vegetables, raisins, sweetish quick finish. Quite "Abbey dubbel like". Standard, not failure but has a certain homebrew abbey kit feeling.

Bottle from Alko Arkadia, October 2013. Dark brown with a small head. Aroma and taste of malt, dried fruit, toffee, nuts and light spices. Also some yeast. Drinkable but not that interesting.
