Draught at Ravintola Aino, Helsinki. Colour is reddish brown with large brownish head. Aromas and flavours are malts, juniper, bread and spices. Too carbonated but first beer from Rekola that doesn’t taste too watery.

A cloudy, light yellow beer with a almost medium and white head. Aroma is weird, fresh, light malts and lots of ginger. Taste of malts, ginger and wheat. Light bodied, slightly biting carbonation. Lots of ginger, still balanced, but something else could also be there.

(Draught at Aino, 20121103) The beer poured deep mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had mals, molasses, mildly juniper and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, juniper, sweet dry bread, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A nice malty brew with noticeable but not too strong juniper scent and flavour. The best one from this brewery so far.

Draught @ Gallows Bird Kekri 2012
Pours dark brown with a small bubbly head. Aroma of bready malts, berries, caramely notes and hints of spices. Taste is malty and sweetish with bready notes, a lot of berries, grassy hops and hints of caramel. Finish is sweet and sticky with berries and spices. Okay, quite easygoing dark Belgian ale.

A slightly cloudy, orange colour beer with a almost medium and blond head. Aroma is nice, aromatic fruits, some tropical fruits, orangemarmelade, dry malts and some rainy pineforest. Taste is quite bitter, biscuits, some pine needles, quite long-lasting, dry and bitter aftertaste, but where are the fruits? Light+ bodied, medium bitterness. Nice beer with enough of aromatics and bitterness, unfortunately the fruits are disappered after the aroma, still succesfull beer.

(Draught at Porvoon Kekri ’12, 20121026) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, berries, caramell and mildly roastedness. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, boiled vegetables, caramell and bitterness. Aftertaste had berries, malts and bitterness. Not a good beer. Too much berries, sweetness and also some fermenting flaws.

A slightly reddish beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma is mild, toffee, some berries and fresh, wet forest after the rain. Sometimes there are some sour, sulphur and unpleasant nuancees in the aroma. Taste is also too mild, toffee, some drying woods and hint of sour&sweet. Medium- bodied, nice body, lightness isn’t bothering. Quite nice beer, but unfortunately, too mild and carefull.
