Can from CBC Liquors, Westford. Cloudy, banana smoothie yellow, tons of sparkle, decent head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, pineapple rind, apricot, faintest hint of cat box. Taste is strong pineapple rind over citrus. Smooth, somewhat watery texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Aroma and taste are fine--not super interesting--but mouthfeel is a little off. OK.

Can from CBC Liquors, Westford. Opaque, milky yellow with nice sparkle working its way through large globs of yeast in suspension, thin head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is tangerine, passion fruit, milder candied tropical fruit, late bread. Taste is super strong tangerine, stone fruit, tropical fruit, mild grainy malt. Smooth texture, lively carbonation, juicy finish with mild yeasty, bitter offset. Looks like hell. Smells/tastes much better than that.

Pours a deep mahogany with a one finger lingering off white head. Malty spicy ginger toffee aroma. The flavor is quite sweet. Caramel, spice, malt. Full body.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: thick looking dark orangey color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head that didn't stick around too long and barely left any lace.
Aroma: fresh rosemary - full and leafy with the tangerines on the secondary level with the cranberries further in the back, light grainy tones with a wheaty base
Flavor: melds all those aromas together in a fantastic sweet and semi-savory way. Finishes with the rosemary and cranberry sweetness while the tangerines seem to bounce to back
Texture: medium bodied, some sessionability about this. Lovely semi-thick smoothness rolling over the tongue.
Overall: funny, I was expecting some tartness from the cranberries but that never showed up. I would very much so return to this.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a small white head and decent retention. Decent lacing. Standard pale malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Standard pale malt flavor, with a light bready finish. As advertised, it's a good, basic, anytime beer. Medium body and medium carbonation. Low bitterness.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass; mild khaki foamy head dissipated fairly quick and barely left any lace
Aroma: mocha sweet, subtle milk chocolate, subtle dark chocolate, light caramel notes, cocoa powder
Flavor: leans towards the sweet side encompassing subtle bitter character of the dark chocolate; mild aftertaste of milk chocolate and mocha-ish tones
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; fairly smooth along the tongue; finishes milk chocolatey sweet
Overall: pretty good pastry stout I believe I could come back to.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: very dark brown close to black color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which dissipated mildly to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark bread, earthy tones, toasted nuts, light toast, subtle coffee
Flavor: moderately sweet, but an ample amount of earthiness to balance out the sweetness; earthy to coffee to dark bready aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some nice smoothness along tongue but also plenty of roast subjugating my tongue, finishes earthy, dark bready and subtle nuts
Overall: I like this dark lager and would come back to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: glazed orange cloudiness with no head and no lace
Aroma: thick pineapples, vanilla, coconut and milk sugar - all very thick and up front
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together sweetly; definitely a pineapple and vanilla aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; very smooth along my tongue; finishes creamy and pineapple-y
Overall: it's not a bad fruit beer, it's just that I expected some sort of "tart" or "sour" character coming about since the brewer says this is a "fruited sour ale," however, if this was up to me, I'd label this as a "fruit beer."

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a one and a half fingers of off-white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, coffee beans, some light vanilla beans, roastiness
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together sweetly and bringing in the roasty tones for a subtle balance; mild aftertaste of coffee beans and milk chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; some smoothness along the tongue; finishes milk chocolatey and coffee-ish
Overall: I feel like this milk/sweet stout is trying not to go too far being too sweet but it somewhat does. I do believe I like this enough to come back to.
