16 oz can. Deep mahogany color that looks Brown. Aroma of soft, cinnamon, mild, specialty grain and minerals. Flavor has a rich scotch ale base with soft cinnamon, and a very mild hint of Apple. 🍎 The bold ABV is not found in the flavor. Drinks super easy for a Wee Heavy base. I like it more and more as it warms up. Excellent.

Nice fall beer. Scotch ale isn’t usually base for such things but I think should be more often. Rich dark brown pour with pretty sitting beige cakey head. Nose is pumpkin spice, malty, touch apple. Tastes of sugary cider donut, batter, sasparilla, malt, pumpkin spices nutmeg and clove. Not overly sweet.

Pours opaque brown with a half finger beige head that settles into a ring fairly quickly. Aroma has notes of ginger, cinnamon, dark bread, raisin. Taste is slightly sweet and a little bitter with cinnamon standing out the strongest, followed by ginger. Seems a little chalky. I have no idea how old this can is—no date stamp—but I’m sure it’s better when it’s fresh.

Pours slightly opaque golden with a thick white head. Aroma of pine. Taste is piney and citrusy, west coast style. Palate has more citrus, some distinct grapefruit notes. Good.
