Echoes Pakeha New Zealand Pilsner

It’s a beautiful clear gold with thick fluffy foam that leaves beautiful lacing behind. The aroma is dusty pilsner malt with a crisp herbal bite that for me is reminiscent of a northern German Pilsner. It’s quite full bodied and comes of as a great Pilsner with a subtle twist whereas the KBC NZ pils was much more hop forward though it’s also way fresher…

Echoes Festive Mother 11%
Apparently, it’s aged on ripe cherries… it’s a good looking deep orange with a bit of a red tinge to it. The aroma is rich and estery. The taste is a vinous Tripel Belgian goodness. This is Echoes festive take on their Mother of all Tripels.

On Tap at the Poulsbo brewery/taproom Clear deep orange/amber pour. Thin ring of micro bubbles and spotty web like lacing,. Sturdy light toasted malt mody. Sweet pine hop character...woody and earthy at the end. Smooth and punchy over all.
