On tap at Ambasada Zagreb. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty and light herbal nose. Dusty, herbal, grainy and bit fruity with short bitter finish. Not the freshest one.

Can from Beerdome. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, licorice, coffee and a little ash. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily. 120925

Bière en canette métal. Robe noire profonde, mousse brune crémeuse mais assez fugace. Nez marqué par le café torréfié et une pointe de cacao. En bouche, l’attaque est dense et intense, avec des notes de malt grillé et de chocolat noir. Bel équilibre amer, mais la dégustation a manqué de fraîcheur : servie un peu trop chaude, elle aurait sans doute révélé davantage de vivacité et de précision.

Can from Beerdome. Tropical kettle sour with mango, passion fruit, some canned stone fruit. Tart and moderate sour, lightly sweetish. Could be a bit more sour, nice tropical aroma though.

Tap at X. Murky golden body, off-white head. Creamy aroma, raisins, dried peaches. Creamy taste, some light stone fruit and dried stone fruit, low herbal notes, pretty much no bitterness. Decent, doesn't seem the freshest.

On tap at X Zagreb. Hazy pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, light citrusy and touch of grapefruit in the nose. Sweetish malty, light fruity, bit citrusy and mild grapefruity with bitterish finish. Not so juicy.

Kanskje årets siste virkelige sommerdag? Jeg benytter anledningen til en nydelig sykkeltur langs Gandsfjorden og ender (naturligvis!) opp på Sandnes' eneste virkelige turistattraksjon, hvor jeg går planken i solveggen. Nr. 3 fra venstre (men jeg glemte å spørre om dette er den amerikanske eller franske produksjonen): nesten helt klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer lenge. Citrusparade med engelsk appelsinmarmelade og hint av blåbær/bjørnebær og gressløk. Svært lettdrikkelig.

440ml can. Murky golden, dense white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lime, guava, mango. Taste follows suit, tropical mango and guava, grapefruit, lime juice and peel, slightly sweet with some light piney resinous bitterness at the end. Medium bodied. Solid NEIPA.

440ml can. Pours a slightly hazed golden, big frothy white head. Aroma is massively piney, resinous, grapefruit. Taste likewise predominantly piney and resinous, grapefruit, citrus peel, good assertive bitterness. Medium bodied. A solid (and well named) westie.
