Description
Outer Range was founded on the belief that our beers should transport you to the same rugged yet majestic mountain peaks that surround and inspire us every day. Our breweries in the Colorado Rockies and the French Alps are here to help you escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, to a place where friends and family can reconnect with nature while creating exceptional moments. We believe these moments are elevated when what's poured into your glass is carefully crafted and inspired by the mountains themselves.

Can at Beerdello, courtesy of the VŽ crew, huge thx! Black body, off-white ehad. Bit smokey, roasty aroma - more from malts than coffee, with a lot of dried fruit. Okay. The taste is rough though - smokey, roasty, black coffee, soapy, alcoholic, some smooth caramel malt, and a bit of cocoa. It tastes like Tomislav on steroids really, but then I realized it had 14% and it started making far more sense. Quite respectable for what it is!

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Diminishing white head leaving spotty lacing behind, cloudy golden body. Grapes and citrus on the nose, inviting. Hop fruity taste character with mango, grapes, orange and a bite of pineapple. Welcome bitter twist to the finish. Fine depth to it. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 18.04.2026)

Med body, med-high carbo. Med-high bitter, but also med sweetness, and med-light sharp grassy hop burn. The hoppy aromatics do not really stand out, med-high citrusy, like a rind with pith, orange, light grapefruit. Rather average, hard to drink.

Med-thin bod, med-high carbo. Med-high bitter, light sweet. Assertive med-high spicy flowery saison-like character, med dank, grassy. A bit of sharpness, almost astringency, but works still. Good.

Tap at Ambasada. Murky orange-golden body off-white head. Peachy, bit citric aroma, somewhat oaty and stale. Smooth citric and somewhat peachy taste, dusty, slightly oaty, bitterish. Quite pleasant at moments, but doesn't feel terribly fresh. Fun how the 5 year old US description fits it better than the French one.
