Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear orange with a small, white what. Crusty pale grains with a fine, white head. Light sweet flavour with bready malts, low bitterness, crunchy hay, lemon rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with lemon rind, crunchy hay. Good stuff.

500ml Bottle - Dark amber/copper with a slight haze. Dried apricot, sultanas and some smoky notes in the aroma. Mildly smoky taste with raisins, caramel, sultanas, dried apricot and ash. Great balance.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Chocolate and some roasted notes in the aroma. Chocolate, nuts, roasted malt, raisins and hints of berries. Very nice.

Pours clear yellow. Small white head, minor lacing. Smell is sharp, malty . Taste is medium sharp, rather thick, grainy, bit sticky, minor sweetness, ends bit crisp, malty.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Raisins, fruitcake and a hint of leather in the aroma. Fruity taste with raisins, plums, berries and a hint of spice. A rich, fruity and tasty bock.

Drunk on a train with ErlangerNick. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Clean pils a little hay in the malt but good lemon on the finish. Grassy. Ok enough would be good if colder. Sherbet hop on the finish.
