[ As Bamberg St Michael ].Unclear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, wheat, moderate yeasty, hefe weizen yeast. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, hefe weizen yeast, bread, caramel, wheat. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140830]

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, 2014. Pours dark ruby amber with a fluffy head. Ripe fruit, chocolate, fudge and toffee. Full bodied. Sweet with a bit of cloying alcohol.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s an unclear brown beer with a dense, beige head. The aroma has some chocolate, with roasted notes and a touch of coffee. Some oxidation notes. Some sweetness in the flavor, but it’s not sticky in any way. Coffee, chocolate and some roasted malts in the flavor, nice bitterness too. Full body, with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, but it’s not much of a weizenbock. 140830
