Description
In mythology, literature and many cultures, the Raven is seen as a culture hero, a revered and benevolent, transformative figure. The Raven helps people, blesses them with gifts and shapes the world. But at the same time, he is a frivolous trickster, a light-hearted prankster who is sometime gluttonous and impatient. The Raven as our totem works perfectly. We like to think we are creative, wise, playful and a bit bird-brained; just like those wacky Ravens.

Can. Pours a very dark brown hue, a small brown head. A chocolate, roast and coffee nose. Heavy roast, sweet dark chocolate, nutty. Very good.

12 oz can. Aroma has notes of coriander, nutmeg, floral, maybe cinnamon. Pours lightly hazy amber with a bone-white head that settles into a ring and skiff of foam after a minute. Taste is packed with spices, orange peel, cranberry, lightly bittersweet.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Cloudy golden pour, thin foamy head. Fruity aroma, little pineapple, a little coconut. Taste is fruity, but the tropical vibes fade away quickly. This can is three months old, not sure if that had any effect.

Can from Tavour. Pours gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of malt that seems like it came from Germany. American malt tends to miss the baked/toast aspect. It's fairly dry and moderately bitter. Hops seem floral with perhaps a touch of Nobility. Surprisingly to me this beer's malt gives me much more pleasure than its hops. Decent for the style.

16 oz can, 4 pack picked up at the Monroe Liquor shop for a very reasonable price for the style. Really refreshing sour, lots of lemonade throughout with a touch of bright blueberry and jammy notes. Quite tart, and the sturdy lemon only adds to that. Very fruity and drinks easy. Nice summer time sour here.
