Description
We are two brothers, in love with the world of beer for several years. It was by brewing at home that we decided in 2009 to make it our profession.

La Barbaude is a family-owned craft brewery. We develop our beer recipes and then manufacture them in our premises with respect for brewing traditions. In the heart of the city of Nîmes (500 m from the train station and the arena), the brewery is at the crossroads of different local cultures: Languedoc, Cévennes, Camargue, Rhône Valley ... Regularly, we will present new beer recipes inspired by products of these terroirs.

Rerate, 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown kandij sugar. The flavour has the same elements, but also spicy and fruity notes. Moderate hops. Some warmth from the alcohol. Quite nice beer. Best at fairly cool drinking temperature. I’m upping it a couple points. Original rating: Sample from bottle at DSJT, Cardinal. ABV is 8.5%. Winter seasonal. Dusty and malty aroma. Brown kandij sugar, malts and mild spices in the flavour. Okay, but not much more. Will rerate when I have a bigger sample.
