Thanks to bartlebier!330 ml. bottle sampled @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. BBF 30/06/2015. Dark amber, creamy white. Nose is old pine resin hops, faded, oxidized, herbal, sugar,… Taste is caramel, bitter herbal, sugar, candy, herbal, oxidized,… Feels old & thin. Tastes like an old IPA to me even though it was supposed to be fresh with a very short amount of time added for the BBF date.

Clear pale beige beer, creamy yellowish head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: some citrus, malty, caramel, sweet, little fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter touch, pretty fruity, sweet caramel malts, bit cheesy. Aftertaste: bitter hops, pretty dry, bit of citrus, fruity touch, some honey.

Bottle shared at Vagabund. Mid Amber with a frothy head. Aroma is soft fruit. Flavour is fruity, plum, rose water, a little hop on a mild malt finish.

Auch wenn die Braukunst live 2015, wo ich dieses Bier getrunken habe, schon eine Zeitlang vorbei ist, so ist mir doch eine Erinnerung und Aufzeichnung an dieses Bier geblieben. Es war eines der ersten Biere, welche das altmodische Helle auf höhere Ebenen hoben. Dies gelang mit einem hopfigen Aroma, welches eine spürbare Herbe reinbrachte, ohne aber in IPA-Richtung zu gehen. Es ist ein erfrischendes, interessantes Helles, wobei ich mir aber denke, dass man da etwas mehr rausholen hätte können.

0,33 l bottle from bierpost, best before 30/4/2015. Clear, reddish amber with a huge, foamy, slowly diminishing, tan to white head. Intense, fruity aroma of passion fruit, mango, sweet cherries and rose hips. Sweetish taste of passion fruit, mango, sweet cherries and rose hips. Short, medium bitter finish. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Different from all the other IPAs because of the unusual flavours and thus very interesting. Tasty and satisfying, simply good!

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, yellow colour with a blond and short foamy head. Citric and lemon-fruity aroma with a moderately wheaty touch, accompanied by Belgian yeasty spice and slightly soapy coriander. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Present wheat character with a whiff of grains, citrus-fruity notes and a mildly spicy touch; dry-ish, slightly sweet and delicately sour-tart finish with a bearable amount of coriander spice. 25.XI.14

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly strawy malty aroma with notes of citrus, nettles and herbal hoppy spice. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Soft malty base with a well-attenuated hoppy bite, including notes of herbs and citrus; dry-ish hop bitter and mildly sweet malty finish with herbal spice. Quite good. 18.XI.14

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Kuehn Kuehnes Blondes ].[ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Unclear light to medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, herbs, fruity, spicy, bubble gum, coriander. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, fruity, spicy, bubble gum, earty yeast - sweet earthy yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141217]

Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt, flowers, vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hay - straw - flowers, fruity, pale malt, minerals.
