Smell is tiny sweet and malty with roasted malts, rye bread, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, salty liquorice candy, hay, burnt cereal and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, moist soil, burnt caramel, dark roast coffee, rye bread, bitter chocolate, burnt wood, black pepper corns, leather and hay, Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly roasted astringent and medium to full bodied. Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Very hazy straw yellow pour with dense foamy white head. Smells Belgian-y with bright Nelson Sauvin hops - lemony and wine-like. Taste is exactly as the aroma - surprisingly fresh tasting. Clean finish with a bit of spicy Belgian flavor. Pleasantly surprising - easy-drinking but lots of flavor, even if Belgian yeastiness isn't my favorite flavor generally. Could get this again.

750ml bottle thanks to Spence. Pours out black topped with a brown head. Nose is lots of roast chocolate and coffee. Taste is as the nose with a nice roast and a good coffee touch.
