Bottle, 12oz, shared by bergstaden. Dark brown in color, close to black, with almost no head. Oily pour. Wood, spices, dark sugar, soy sauce, raisins, molasses, leather, alcohol, lots of licorice and a pleasant oxidation in the aroma. It’s oily and full-bodied, warming and quite flat on the palate, with some oxidized notes in the flavor, along with soy sauce, licorice, molasses and dark dried fruits. Some brown sugar, alcohol and wood. Lasting warming and full-bodied finish with loads of soy sauce, licorice and booze. Quite wonderful, but I’d sure prefer it to be less alcoholic. Around 10% should be enough I guess. 170311
