Bottle. Golden beer with a cream head. Malt and mineral aroma. Mineral and malt flavor with light citrus. Medium bodied. Mineral and malt linger with earth.

12 oz bottle (bottle conditioned) from Newport's Farms Market, Ocean Beach San Diego. Poured into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass on 20th Jan 2018 at my daughters while on holiday in California. Cloudy golden body, full white head. I can't remember ever having a cloudy Kolsch before, anyway this was. Aroma of straw and not much else, tasted of grains and not much else, not impressed.

Bouteille de 650 ml. Olfactif aux notes de foin et de pain, très légèrement miellé. Légers houblons herbacés en sourdine. Un filet de mousse qui disparaît rapidement sur un liquide doré / ambré très clair. Entrée de bouche plutôt maltée qui se décline en délicate amertume herbacée soutenue par une longueur persistante. Notes de pain et de foin, d'herbes fraiches. De corps moyen et d'effervescence douce, elle s'avère délicate et croustillante.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy golden yellow, large fluffy white head, good lacing. Aroma is grassy, straw, grain. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, hint of citrus. Light pls body.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty grainy weak grassy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy weak grassy finish.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ (Chris and Ruth’s pre-GBBF tasting 2015) by chriso - London ]. [ As Iron Fist Renegade Blonde ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, herbs, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, grape notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, saison yeast, pale malt, herbs - floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150808] 7-3-6-3-12

500 ml Willebecher glass draft at the Angel’s Trumpet Ale House in Phoenix, Arizona. The pour is a mostly clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is clean cracker malt, toast, and a general grass yeast. The taste is a really nice bright fresh cracker malt and grass, very much what I have come to expect from a Kolsch. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft natural carbonation and a dry grass grain finish. Tasty beer.

Brown bottle, 750 ml, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savoured on April 15 2016; eye: golden with a light coppery hue, clear, no effervescence, ring of white head, light lacing; nose: malt, light fruity, slight spices; mouth: malt, light spices, slight fruity, finale in malt with presence of spices, medium body, good carbonation, lightly sweet, lightly grainy texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 750 ml, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savourée le 15 avril 2016; œil : dorée avec une légère teinte cuivrée, limpide, pas d’effervescence, anneau de mousse blanc, légère dentelle; nez : malt, léger fruité, très léger épices; bouche : malt, léger épices, très léger fruité, finale en malt avec présence d’épices, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation, légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement granuleuse; en résumé : correct

Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Cheers! Pours clear yellow-gold with a white cream cap. Simple bready pale malts in the nose, dough. Medium sweet flavour with more doughy, pale bread, vague citrus fruits, light hay, pale grains. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Simple sweet and bready finish. Fine.
