25/IX/16 - 50cl bottle I got from the brewers during summer 2015 @ home - BB: n/a (2016-1187) Thanks to the brewers for the gift!
Clear red amber to brown beer, big aery creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, pretty peated, dried fruits, sweet, caramel, sourish. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, bit lemony, soft peat, pretty fruity, some caramel. Aftertaste: very fruity, some tannins, grape juice, bit acidic, bit earthy, some lemon juice. Probably infected, but it works pretty well in this beer!

Sample @ 6de Gents Bierfestival 2015.

(Thx! for sharing) Sampled 500 ml. bottle @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Hazy golden, small white head. Nose is odd soap, esters, BE sweet & herbal. Taste is soap, dough, lemonade, heavy esters, lavender, coriander, more soap,… Carbonation & far too high. Didn’t like it at all.

Clear blond beer, aery white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, mandarins, banana, sweet malts, bit of marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit spicy, some coriander, ripe banana, little bitter, some alcohol. Aftertaste: more coriander and ripe banana, spicy, bit sourish, very yeasty, mainly coriander though. Not dry enough for a saison.

Cloudy brownish copper coloured beer under a loose, off-white, moussy head; sweet butterscotch smell, brown sugar, coriander, banana, overripe pear, biscuit, hint of citrus peel and quite a lot of glue-like phenols. Estery fruity flavour, bubblegum, some peach and banana but no exagerrated, soft carbo, lean and smooth mouthfeel, coriander seed accent, caramelly malty finish with light resiny coriander effect, but very low hop bittering. One-dimensional, technically okay, albeit too blandly sweet for my personal palate.

75cl bottle sample, thanks Tderoeck. Bottled 18/03/2015.

Thanks to tderoeck! 750 ml. bottle sampled. 18/03/2015. Brown amber, little white bubbles. Nose is oxidation, leaves, sugar, candy, bitter leaves & far too overt oxidation ofr me. Taste is lightly sparkling but a bit low on carbonation all the same, taste is dull oxidation & big sugar with some caramel, candy, sweet spices & dull leaves, some booze in the back. I feel a bit bad saying this but this feels just like another small Belgian brewery making subpar, boring, stereotypical Belgian beer, packaging it a bit nicer than usual but that is about it. Didn’t enjoy this one.

24/VII/15 - 75cl bottle from the brewer @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 18/II/15 (2015-976)
Clear red brown to red beer, small fizzy beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: caramel, sweet, malty, some cooked cabages (DMS?), weird, unpleasant vegetable smell. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish, very sweet, sugary, wine gums, something off. Aftertaste: weird, offensive, something is wrong here, very wrong. :(
