Tap at Astro Lab. Thick unfiltered orange body. Creamy, sweet on the palate. A chunky, hefty beer, deep juicy hop feel but a little bit messy. Unique aroma, deep juiciness, just not the best put together beer.

Tap at Astro Lab. Filtered orange-tan body. My dream hop bill but nothing really jumps out at me. Grainy Pils taste mostly, drinkable and OK but a little bit disappointing.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some creamy white head that faded quick. Corn nose, some yeast, some soggy bread, flowers. Flavor has some honey, grist, yeast, soggy crackers. Finishes mostly crisp. Decent enough. Maybe a little dusty. Perhaps the foeder? 6 3 6 3 12

Mango and passion fruit. Pours golden hazy with decent head. Some nelson but not as much as I’d like of that sharp grapefruit feel. Sweet finish with a little bitterness. Tap at Gilly’s.

Roast and coffee. Dry and bitter stout. Black pour with good mocha head and lacing. Slick mouth feel. Simple but easy drinking and good. Sharp bitter finish. Tap at Gilly’s.

16oz can pours a pulpy, dark orange with some creamy white head. Nose has some starchy notes like rice or buckwheat, then some raw tropical fruit, some raw pineapple, passion fruit curd, lemon curd too, a little paint. Flavor has more tropicals, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, melon, a little maple lurking or something, creamy oats. Flavor is definitely better than the nose. Finishes full bodied, creamy, fruity and a little bitter. 7 4 8 3 14
