Westlandse Bierbrouwerij ZWOL is ontstaan vanuit een gepassioneerde hobby. Wij, Ad ZWinkels en Marty OLsthoorn, brouwen al enkele jaren met veel plezier uiteenlopende biersoorten en zijn daarbij steeds op zoek naar de lekkerste combinaties van mout en hop. Wij brouwen voornamelijk bekende, traditionele bierstijlen op de manier zoals ze bedoeld zijn, maar geven die een eigen identiteit. Dat zie je ook terug in de namen van ons bier. Wij zijn trots op onze Westlandse roots en die vind je ook terug in de voor Westlanders herkenbare namen van onze bieren.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, light brown head. Aroma: Coffee, earthy. Taste: A lot of coffee, very slighty sourish and fruity coffee bean, earthy, some roasted malt. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Ok coffee Porter.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Fairly strong and sweet with notes of malt, sugary orange, ripe apricot, some yeast and spice. Light boozy with a sticky sweet finish. Sugary Tripel, decent, lacks true depth.

Bottle @ Eiber fest. Pours a deep dark body and a very small light beige head that leaves a small ring. Aroma's: roasted malt, drop, rye bread, light sweet. Flavour is moderate sweet, chocolate, light drop, a hint of bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes roasty, moderate bitter.
