Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a t hin tan head. The aroma has strong notes of hops lending it citrusy notes, but also notes of fruits leaning on being over ripe and hence very sweet on a malty back ground. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruits, and medium notes of hops, the latter lending it notes of citrus, leading to a very bitter finish. The over ripe fruits gives it a good body. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Coffee, licorice and a meaty component in the nose that almost reminds of canned catfood?! Flavor is roasty with coffee but also alot of diacetyl and then alot of astringent burnt grain at the finish, along with a hot alcohol burn.

2008 bottle, thanks to Daknole. Pours black wtih a medium tan head. quickly dissapating head. Nice nutty roasted malt aroma and some chocolate. Wow, the mouth is heavenly. Silky smooth, very creamy with nice maltyness shining through. Big though, the strong dark malts punch down the throat and come back through the nose. bakers chocolate and bitterss round out the lingering finish. Very nice!

Hazy golden orange with a white head. Grapefruit, citrus, and light caramel malts in the overall fruity aroma. Flavor is a bit on the sweet malt side with pine, and citrus hops also noticeable. It may be a bit sweet because this isn’t the freshest of bottles. Medium body. Has a nice bitter finish. A decent iPA, but nothing to write home about.

Deep brown with a frothy beige head. Roasted malts, molasses, chocolate, and biscuit. Body was a tad thin. Nice flavor on this one. Lightly sour caramel malts, a touch of oats, and some nice hops round this one out. Very drinkable porter that I could down a few of in a sitting.
