*33cl from Cora in Forbach.

Nice fresh but sourish beginning. Malty-sourish, red fruits, not too deep but nice and round fruity body. Dark dried fruit, dry malt with not too much sweetness. Round malty and fruity aftertaste with sourish cherry/plum hints. Nice fruity, round.

It was a 50cl bottle Mat! Flip-top and neat looking packaging. The actual beer was OK too. Shared between 5, cheers Luc for bringing this to the December Shrewsbury Bottle Share meeting (8th Dec 2014). Poured a dark amber with a beige head. Caramel and toffee esters filled the nose and the taste carried on in the same way: sweet malty molasses all the way with this beer. My sweet tooth liked it a lot.

330ml bottle, shared between 5 at the Tenth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Dec 14, thanks to Luc. Firstly, what a great bottle this is. You really don’t see this every day. Pours dark brown with a slight haze and small beige head. Sweet malty caramel aroma. Taste is caramel with a slight spice. Sweet and lovely.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. What a gusher! Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts malty, yeasty, modest dry. Light sourish. Finish moldy-sourish. Okay.

330ml bottle @ the 7th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, courtesy of Luc. Pours a deep amber with frothy white head. Decent amber with light caramel and spice, smooth and drinkable. Could’ve done with being a bit colder tho!

330ml bottle @ 7th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Aug 14, thanks to Luc. Pours black with off-white head. Light malty toffee character that veers too much away from a Porter style to be classed as one.

Cheers Luc: one of the bottles at the August 2014 Shrewsbury beer share. Dark body, white head. Dry malts rule the nose and taste: expected and wanted more from this brew, label promised more than the beer provided, pity. Medium bodied but lacked character and depth.

Goldgelbes Getränk mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch süß nach Mirabellen, nur leicht malzig, getreidig, so schmeckt das Bier auch.
