Behold, thou art in the presence of a pomelo! Pale yellow, almost white, cloudy and with a white head. Smells of pomelo and lemon. Soft and fresh, sour and bitter.

330ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Soapy, zesty, lemon and lemon juice aroma. Taste is monotonously dry, soapy, hints of cleaner with lemon adjunct; very subtle, pale malty sweetness. Completely different from standard German artificial and sugary Radler examples.

At a tasting, thanks Stas, big stable dense bubbly head, dark brown color, aroma of wood and light roasted coffee, flavor of coffee and charred wood with a mellow medium herbal bitterness, not too complex bit quite balanced. Nice and easy to drink.

Bottle from friend, many thanks Daniel. Dark orange color with small white head. malt, honey, light hops in aroma. Taste, malt, oranges, honey, light hoppy bitterness in finish. Despite of fact, that this is not brown ale, beer is not very tasty.

Bottle at home in London. Pours mostly clear, deep brown with a large, rocky tan head. There’s a pretty nice aroma, some ashy roast, raisins, mild milk chocolate. Light sweet flavor with lots of burnt peanut shells, some torched earth, burnt rubber, heavy bitter char. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lingering char in the finish, nips of baking cocoa, dried and vaguely tangy dark fruits. Nothing special but certainly not bad.
