Bright botanicals and punchy orange peel add a pop to this pear and apple cider. Ingredients: apples, lemon verbena, orange peel, fennel seed, cane sugar
Single as part of a mix from Press online. Mojito glass at home. Pale gold, very slight protein haze with a lingering ring of lace.
Lemon verbena over apple spice nose.
Big lemon honey feels with a delicate twinge of orange peel, medium-low apple tannins, apple stem, earth, citrus pith finish.
More refreshing cocktail rather then complex cider.

Clear, rich medium gold, still, sweaty pour into my mojito glass.
Semi-sweet apple acid, mellow veg, mildly tart & honeyed nose.
Moderately tannic, medium high sharpness, bright acid, prickly veggy/leafy finish that ends with good contrast; spritzy.
Kinda okay.

Pounder via Press online, couple months in the fridge. Mojito glass at home.
Pale gold, fizzy pour.
Creamy, sour berry, cheap chardonnay nose.
Very tart, sour melon, white wine, ugly ethanol.
Thin, too sharp, irritating, even for me.
Somewhat palatable but too unattractive to swig the whole can.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear pale golden with a tiny white head. Aroma reveals tart apple core, fermented brown sugar, and acidity. Flavour is tart and mostly dry, with lots of apple core, mostly fermented out brown sugar, and finishing lightly tart. Cohesive and well-constructed. Decent.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a slight transient white head. Red apple skin aroma with a touch of pale stone fruit. Near med body. Dry and lightly astringent. Red apple skin for flavor with that pale stone fruit note. Might be a light touch of spice. Good cider.

Nice apple cocktail forward and nose, complex dry cardamom hinted finish.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear pale golden, no head. Nose has gentle crisp apple acidity, with gentle floral hops. Flavour has plenty of bright floral hops, gentle acidity and crisp apple skins. Finishes with lots of apple core. The fresh hops sit awkwardly here, but it's not bad overall.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear dark orange with a tiny white head. Aroma has plenty of ginger, a touch of berry, and just apples. Flavour is full of ginger, sugars and a touch of berry. Full of spices, sugars and a touch of tartness. Simple and lacking any real depth. Meh.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tons of pineapple and cardamom upfront, with a touch of lime. Flavour has plenty of pineapple and lime upfront, with a touch of cardamom to back. Sweet and lightly acidic; not much complexity but competent enough.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out musty pear skins, earthy notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is dry-ish, with pear skins, mustiness, and a touch of tartness. Tart, pear skins, and mustiness on the finish. It's alright.
