Canned 7/2/25, drunk 8/13/25.
Clear, hazelnut-cola. Large, lightly-creamy, dark beige head, good retention.
Clean and aromatic with a healthy amount of chocolate character from the dark malts and a touch of toffee, but no big toast/roast. Lots of base malt. Some unfermented honey magnifies this, while adding light floral notes, as well.
Lots of base malt with just a touch of roast/toast. Light caramel, light unfermented honey, but nothing is too sweet. Lot of flavor and body for its size. Incredibly drinkable and balanced. The hits from Bizarre keep comin'....

16oz can from Tavour. Cloudy golden pour, fluffy white head settles quickly, some sediment. Bready aroma, grassy. Taste is grainy, hay with a smidge of bitterness. Quick finish, mildly dry.
Nice dry bready crispiness. Solid refresher.

On tap at Bizarre, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has big bourbon barrels, caramel, dark dried fruits, and bready toffee. Flavour is very complex and sweet, with big bourbon barrels, toffee, caramel, lots of sugars, and some dark dried fruits. Really great malt base and expertly barrel-aged. Wonderful.

On tap at Bizarre, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has a nice hearty oatiness, light cocoa, a touch of coconut, and toasted malt. Flavour is robust, with hearty oats, very soft amounts of coconut, vanilla, and cocoa, and finishing fairly dry. Really nice low ABV, yet hearty, stout. Very good.

On tap at Bizarre, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a strange, muffled hop earthiness, light chalk, and bready notes. Flavour is pretty muffled, with a dull hop expression, bready malt, and some earthiness. Poor hop expression and/or muddled structure. Not too good.

On tap at Bizarre, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has gentle corn, straw, and soft biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, with light corn, biscuity malt, and straw. Clean and drinkable but not exciting.

Can from Tavour. Pours ruddy dark mahogany with a persisting moderate tan head. Amber malt aroma. Med body. Not entirely dry. Moderately bitter. Citrus hops. Sort of a cross between an amber ale and a Vienna lager. Drinks ok.
