500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and typical muggy Low alcohol bready aroma, yeast dough. Taste is flat grainy, bready, minimally tart, a touch of lemon and bitter hop; light body, slightly watery. Surprisingly "fresh" taste.

Some nice roasted malt in the aroma. More dark malt flavour in this one compared to many other Altbiers.

0,5 l bottle with a pale labeling. Looks good in the glass, maybe a little bit too light. Soft banana and herb yeast on the nose. Starts more vanilla, soft banana and fruits, all on a low watery level. A little bit dry to the end. Not so good.

21st Sep 2013: sat in the sunshine on the apartment garden during a stay in ’Cochem’ Germany. 500ml Can shared with the wife. I remember this beer from years ago: a solid, if standard Pilsner with a good hop content and a dry refreshing feel to the whole thing. Well, I’m pleased to say nothing has changed: still a good example of a well made German Pilsner, clear, clean and bright with a crisp taste. No features that make it stand out, but a good beer nonetheless. Pale gold in colour with the traditional white head that disappears fairly quickly, almost odourless and no flavours that are going to test your taste buds, this is ’your regular German Pilsner’ with a morsel of class.

Thanks to Erzengel. Pours to a clear golden body with a starch white head. The aroma is noble hops and crisp grains. The flavor is a bit bitter with the noble hops not being totally balanced with malt.

33cl, the beer starts a bit sharp, hoppy. the main part is also sharp, a bit sweet, the aftertaste is long, very intensive hoppy. Not round really – the beer is ok, but nothing special. But I like the sharp hoppy aftertaste! --> 11/12/11/11

A golden color when poured with a nice frothy head. Definately can taste the malt and hops. Not too bitter.

Bottle looks very simple, almost like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts very mild but also very sweet. Like sugar. Not much beery notes. Finish mild, almost washy, still sweet. Not good.
