On tap at Loyal Legion PDX, pours a cloudy an opaque, dirty orangey amber with a small beige head. Aroma has some light berries and even lighter lacto. Flavour is very fruity, with lots of pithy raspberries and blackberries, not any salt detectable, and gentle tartness. Fruity, pithy, and somewhat yogurty. It's alright.

On tap at Loyal Legion PDX, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out oily resinous hops, dry piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is loaded with pine cones, resinous hop oils, pine, and just enough malt to balance. Piney, oily and wonderfully constructed. Excellent.

Can. Pours a very dark hue, almost black with a very small bubble of head. A big boozy nose, caramel, barrel and dark fruit. Sweet, lots of oxidation, whiskey, woody, some dried dark fruit, leather. Good.

Dark brown. Medium head. The aroma is assertively cocoa, American. On the palate, it's got a reasonable sweetness, again cocoa heavy, not super complex and very American. None of the fruit, or richness, or complex dark sugars I'd normally associate with this style. It's an okay beer, but misses the style by a pretty wide margin.
