330ml bottle [numero ultimo delivery by bartlebier, thanks!]. Milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, crystalline-looking, snow-white head. Slightly grainy, strawy pale malty aroma, cautious hints of hops covering the spectrum from grass to lemon. Taste is mild grassy hoppy, a touch of lemon, slightly sweet, biscuity pale malty basis. Too clean for a decent Zwickel, too cautious for an APA; more a "Sturm im Wasserglas".

pours clear light yellow with white head and nice lacing. the same flowery hops as in their pils (waldhaus diplom), but sweeter of course. malty and nutty flavour. I am usually not a big fan of helles, and I still prefer their pils, but this one is quite good, probably on par with my other favourite Alpirsbacher Spezial -- will need to do a one-to-one test someday..

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Waldhaus Hopfensturm ].[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Clear light medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, sweet malt, light vegetables, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, sugary malt, malt, grain. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150414]

pours clear pale yellow with a small white head and some lacing. fragrant sweet floral aroma, perfume. lots of aroma hops, not too much bitterness. quite complex taste for a pilsener. good carbonation. balanced finish. very nice.

Tap. Hazy golden with small white head. Sweet grains, light toffee and a bit of sugar. Lihht yeast and bread. Taste is medium sweet with light bitter finish. Medium to full bodied with full creamy, almost chewy feel. Very interesting palate, feels very big for the low abv. Like the pils not bad, but slightly too sweet for me.

Tap. Clear golden with small white head. Sweet grains, light toffee and a bit of sugar. Light dried apple. Medium spices. Taste is medium sweet with light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not bad, but slightly too sweet for me.
