On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma smells like a root beer—any further word would be superfluous. Flavour is a little more complex, with lots of root beer spices, and actually some dark malts in here. Not my thing but it’s not egregious.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of stone fruits, subdued resinous hops, and sweet bready malt. Flavour is hop-deficient, with gentle berries, light bitterness, and some sweet biscuity malt. Needs waaaay more hops—just lame as is.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma has an odd sourdough-like characters, with soft bready malt and some stale notes. Flavour is somewhat stale, like they threw stale sourdough in here. Not much malt depth, certainly no hops. Useless beverage.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma has gentle piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is extremely timid, with very mild piney hops and soft biscuity malt. Why make a hoppy beer without hops? Clean enough though.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty hop-deficient, with light floral hops and soft bready malt. Flavour is lightly better, with soft floral and piney hops, and some bready malt at the base. Needs more hops, but the balance is OK. Fine.

On tap at Parallel 49. Pours clear gold with a white head. Dead straw on the nose. Flavour has stale white bread and limp straw. Meh.

Black, dense creamy tan head. Nose and palate of dry malt/light roast. Thin with medium bitterness in finish

On tap at St. Augustine's. Pours clear ruby. Red apple skins on the nose. Flavour has red apple skins, excess sugars, sweet cherry candies, and blackberry candies. This is pop nonsense, way too sweet.

On tap at St. Augustine's. Pours clear pale blonde. Mostly apple skins on the nose. Flavour has apple skins, first pass cider, some cores. It tastes like a cheap cider, but at least no excess sugars.
