Opaque, pale. Not much head. This comes across soupy…some allium in there, light stone fruit, mellow pale malts but not much malt backbone.

Opaque, just a thin head. Bright stone fruit hops, nectarine especially. On the palate, same stone fruit but also orange and pear. These hops wouldn’t make sense unless the malt and alcohol provided good support…and they do. That makes a big difference here.

Opaque, no head. Has a bit of coconut, citrus and even weediness… a garbage plate of hop character, but that’s not a bad thing necessarily.

Dullish sort of pale colour, no head. Light brett. Still some sticky sugars. Basic pale malts but aside from the brett I’m not sure what else is going on…a simple beer needs better execution.

Some haze, pale amber colour. No head. Heavy alliumish centennial. Not the best expression of this hop, a hop that to me is having a bit of a renaissance. Body and malt character are good but the hopping might be a bit too assertive for centennial.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a medium, foamy, short lived, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, mango, peach, pineapple, earthy yeast, oats and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, guava, apricot, pineapple, earthy yeast, oats and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a thick, almost creamy texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and enjoyable.

473ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, sweet toffee, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice can, but the beer is rather basic. It lacks fruit, is too sweet and the alcohol is too well hidden.
