Tap at Takumiya. Medium amber with a low head. Toasty, slightly nutty nose, just a touch of caramel. Nutty malt flavor, toast, not very sweet, light malt, light hops, well balanced and tasty.

Nude Brewery Hanashizuku 4.5% 2 IBU

Lovely red color with pinkish white foam and a nice fruit raspberry aroma. Light bodied and crisp. Solid sour.

Tap at Takumiya. Very pale straw color with a low head. Grassy hops with some citrus and clean wheat malt in the nose. Light, crisp, nicely hoppy. Hints of wheat malt come through. Cleanly done session lager.

Tap at Tram. Medium golden. Big citrusy hops, clean malt, touch of honey, light saison spiciness from the yeast. Another low abv beer form them that is pretty nice.

Tap at Takanoya. Hazy pastel yellow. Nose of coconut, grapefruit, orange, tropical fruits, and biscuit hops. Sweet and fruity, slightly tart, light but not lacking. Well done.

25/10/2024. Draft at Craft House Kyoto. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, apples, touch herbal. Moderate sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, spritzy carbonation. Refresher.

Kyoto Nude Brewwery Hokaze Session IPA 4.5% IBU 15 Matte gold, off-white soapy foam and a tutti-frutti, citrus and herbal hop bouquet. Light bodied, crisp, clean and dry. This is a really solid session IPA. It’s light bodied but not watery and has a decent depth of flavor which can be rare with the style. 500¥ for 200ml at the Uji Craft Beer fest is good value. I’ve tried 4 beers for 2100¥, even at CBM that usually just gets me 3 beers these days…
