(brewed by people from Opstalse Bierpallieters at Angerik brewery) Thick pink-yellowish head, irregular; orange-amber beer, fully hazy. Bit grassy nose, touch of caramel. Very obvious hazelnut flavour, some orange zest. There’s some caramel-syrupy, but actually very nice flavour, not unlike maple-syrup. Well-bodied, slick mouthfeel. Nice beer - just a wee bit young, but very promessing. With some drying out (refermentation in the bottle) it might get quite top.

[ZBF 2004] A clear brown beer with a fine but disappearing head. The aroma is sweet caramel with notes of wood and plums. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and roasted bread. It ends on a bitter hop note. A very nice beer.

[ZBF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a fine though collapsing head. The aroma is sweet malty and the so is the flavor combined with fruit especially peach. A very nice flavor.

White, fizzy head, which is good lacing and mostly diminishing. Yellow cloudy body. Hoppy and yeasty aroma. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour, heavily bitter finish, which had a long duration. Lively mouthfeel.

(Sample 1.5 yr. old) Colour: dark brown with yellow-golden shine, which appears in the thick, irregular head. Roasted malts, mocca and some madeira or port in the nose. taste gives roasted grains or coffee, something smokey. Also some malty, full sweetness. Mouthfeel is surprisingly full for only 5.5 % ABV. Tends towards a lot of unfermented(able) sugars. Nor new aftertaste. Pretty decent beer, really. Deserves slightly more body and alcohol.

Orangey colour, paler than 'amber' would signify. Thick white head, slowly collapsing. Nose of citrus, iron. taste is orange rind, something meaty. Ironoxide taste, like a galvanic stream in the mouth as well as something lactic. Mouthfeel is very light, quite carbonised without being fizzy. At the same time, there's something greasy in it. Weird. Aftertaste only a hint of aroma of 'potiron', kind of pumpkin. For a first of a new brewery, meant to exist on its own, more than laudable.
