Il parait qu'il y a du Gruut dans cette Steenbrugge...Pas violent le Gruut...Et c'est en définitive une double très classique et peu emballante qui nous est proposé ici. J'ai tout de même apprécié l'alcool qui prend des accents de whisky et qui n'est pas désagréable. Le visuel est sur un brun limpide avec une faible effervescence et une mousse brun clair disparate. Le nez est sur une alliance caramel, alcool tournant vers le whisky, banane, pomme, poire et raisin. L'ensemble manque de relief et de complexité. Le sentiment est semblable à la dégustation. Sur une texture fine, l'ensemble de la dégustation est très homogène. L'alcool, à 6,5 % sauve heureusement l'ensemble. Et d'ailleurs, lorsque celui-ci faiblit sur le final, on se retrouve avec une bière sans grand caractère. Corpulence et longueur sont juste acceptable. Dans la banalité.

33cl bottle. Pours reddish amber, transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is malty, toffee, a little honey. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is medium sweet and moderately bitter. Final is average.

0,33 bottle. Traditional label. Golden yellow clear color, nice big white foam, medium-lasting. Spicy, slightly herbal, sweet aroma on a malt basis. Yeast is also noticeable. Medium-bodied, which is noticeable at first sip, that it also has "normal" hop bitterness. It is also a pretty good citrusy, spicy beer, with a complex taste. Fruitiness, citrusiness are also noticeable, there is also regular carbonation, which makes it fresher. A little candy-sugary alcohol is noticeable, but not terrible. Quite a good basic Belgian golden ale. I expected worse, but the complex taste threw it off.

Hagyományos címke. Aranysárga tiszta szín, szép nagy fehér hab, közepesen tart. Malátás alapon fűszeres picit gyógynövényes, édeskés aroma. Élesztő is érződik. Közepesen testes, ami első kortyra érezhető, hogy van benne "normális" komlókeserű is. Emellett elég jó kis citrusos, fűszeres sör, összetett az íze. Gyümölcsösség, citrusosság is érződik, szénsav is van rendesen, ami firssebbé teszi. Pici kandis-cukros alkoholosság érződik, de nem vészes. Egész jó alap belga golden ale. Rosszabbra számítottam, de a komplex íz dobott rajta.

From the Adventskalender. Brown with a creamy, off-white head that lingers. Malty aroma full of candy, brown sugar, nuts, and yeasty dark bread. Lacks a fruit component, but pleasant. Taste is less nuanced, sweet with a light metallic bitterness at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Okay.

Ordentliches Triple, das sich aber nicht vom Durchschnitt abhebt - hat bei mir keinen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. Trotzdem nicht verkehrt. Starke Carbo.
