Clear light orange beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very grassy hops, lime peel, smells like pilsener. MF: too much carbon, medium body. Taste: citric start, bit sweet, dairy, spices, cloves, some liquorish, bitter hops. Aftertaste: spicy, bitter, some orange peel, grains, pretty herbal, bitter. Not as bad as I feared! Decent tripel, but a bit plain.

Draft at Jacktrelden, Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear yellow colour with a big white frothy head. The aroma is pretty weak and if I'm honest, I can hardly smell anything at all. The flavour is of malt and yeast. Given the alcohol content, its not particularly bitter and the palate is weak. As far as Tripel's go, it's not a classic, but its still far more tasty and refreshing than many other beers I could mention.

Smells floral and pours copper. Aroma has a little too much astringency barrel-like taste. Otherwise a decent triple. Some malt in aroma as well and high alcohol burns a bit on leave - not cushioned very well. Bottle.

Appearance: Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Mild fruity and moderate sweet malty.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a light bitterness. Smooth carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Mild round caramel malty and fruity. Some vanilla and light citric.
Overall impression: What a nice tasty and well blended beer. Smooth like an old Cognac. Really enjoyable.
