330ml bottle into shaker. From ALDI. Unusual bottle, Australian shape but European capacity. Pours a golden amber with a large fluffy white head and light carbonation. Smells of cheap malt and sour grain. Oily texture, grainy taste. Finish is more grain with a lingering sourness. An easy-drinking Pils style lager. It's from Saigon but it's not special.

Can from a Ho Chi Minh Circle K. Poured a crystal clear golden yellow colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is corn, malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a light, watery crisp, dry cardboard malt, light dry woody hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Produced in limited quantities? I don’t think anyone will be losing sleep over that decision!

Bottle from Asian shop in Petržalka Country no.39 And this is classic sweet Asian rice beer. I know that have shitloads of rice, but why don't they at least try to brew something bitter.

Bottle at Pho Hanoi, Copenhagen. Bland lager af of course but come to this place for the pho...awesome. (23/3/18) --- Bottle at Ah Quy, Leuven. To the sound of horrific vietnamese rap. You almost wonder why you bother importing it when you're in Belgium. Anyway....kept at 2.2. (10/2/22) ----- Bottle at Authentic Hostel, Saigon. 2.2 to 2.5. Much better.

Can brought back to UK from Vietnam by Cecile, cheers! Pours very pale gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, light citrus and grass, with a metallic edge. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, slightly above average carbonation. Sweet, watery finish. Not much too it but not unpleasant.
