Can from a Ho Chi Minh Circle K. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is dry lager malt, cardboard, mineral. The flavour is light to moderate bitter with a dry mineral, light hop bitter fizzy palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from the local Asia shop. Drink it ice cold on warm day on a beach and its okay. Drink it in rainy Germany and its worse than water.

330ml can @ 5.3% ABV. Pours yellow with a small frothy white head. Aroma is corn, sweet malt, faint fruit notes. Taste is sweet, watery and papery. Another insipid pale lager, but at least is is inoffensive.

Can at Craft n’ Taps Hanoi. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt with some hoppy notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I’ve tasted worse, much worse. At least it’s refreshing and drinkable and isn’t over carbonated. It won’t win any awards but I think some of the earlier ratings are a little harsh.

Bottle at Le Pub, Hanoi. The aroma is cardboard malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light hoppy bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Served cool and it hit the mark in Asia but it’s no more than a simple lager with little flavour.
