Sweet malt aroma and taste, thin and foamy beige head, dark amber body. Malt is the main focus here, dominating all aspects of this beer. Heavy molasses aroma, sweet palate. After drinking NW IPAs, this is a differnet taste all together.

Lots of candied, caramel malt here. A touch too much on the syrupy side of consistency for me. Pours dark brown with fizzy initial head and lacing. Finishes bitter and sweet. Some dark, slightly milk chocolate like flavour here. Bottle.

Bottle. Aroma: strong herbs, I guess from hops; a little syrup. Golden colour, clear, minimal head. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Average carbonation, oily texture. Not too sweet, interesting because of the strong herby character, feels natural and resembles a normal beer.
