Bottle, Cambridge Cellars. Dark brown with an inch of beige head that fades but laces OK. Aroma is fruity with raisins, dates, prunes, some chili... wait I can feel it in my eyes. Lowish carbonation. Taste is sweet and much like normal Amber Grand Porter - maybe a bit more plummy - but with moderate burning. It’s brooding rather than really hot and it doesn’t overwhelm the beer. Maybe even complements the sweetness a bit. Didn’t expect to want to finish 1/2l of this, but it’s pretty enjoyable.

Edycja Limitowana. Firmowy kapsel. No nawet fajne. Ladna piana trwala i spora. Etykieta tez zreszta limitowana.

Thanks to Ivanec for bringing this from Poland! Dark red-brown body. Almost generic sweet malt-dominated aroma, sticky with notes of caramel. Dry, grainy taste, all about the sweet maltiness... very light bitterness near the finish. The score in my notes = the score on the site - yay? Whatever the case, not a bad slightly stronger dark lager, but doesn’t thrill, matching my expectations exactly.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy opaque yellow body. Earthy papery mealy aroma with spicy banana notes. Dryish-sweet earthy tropical fruit taste with mealy papery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel goes a little hot at the end. Dryish, almost acidic, mealy banana and fruit aftertaste with earthy papery notes. It’s OK, but not something I’m going to buy again. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly web order.)

Bottle, as Amber Wheat. Cloudy - almost milky - orange with a large white head that lasts well. Bready aroma with cloves, coriander, a little lemon. Sweet and bready with a wheaty and lemony tanginess, dries out a little with spices. A bit on the sweet side for me, but pretty good.

Bottled@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. More or less black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is toasted, eathy, fruity and also a bit nutty notes. The flavour is rather similar to most elements, but also has a nice spicy and chili notes kicking in the finish. Quite pleasantly balanced though.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonolpoet, Tromsø Langnes. Drukket hjemme 3 Apr 13. Lys appelsinfarget. Veldig uklar. Ikke pen. Høyt luftig skum som varer en stund. Litt lacing. Grei sitrusaroma. Smaken er litt sitrus men med et tydelig gjærpreg. Blir for søt. KI=7
