500ml Bottle: BBD 7th Oct 2014, poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 20th Aug 2014. Pale amber to golden in colour, white head that soon turned into a wisp and collar. Sweet malts in the nose and taste, in fact very sweet malts. Good carbonation levels, makes the beer crisp and sharp even though it is sweet in nature and lacks a hop bitterness. Needs more hop balance in my opinion: I managed the whole bottle, but one was enough.

Thanks to Mariusz for sharing! The beer starts smmoth-malty with a nice chilli-hotness. Fresh, smooth, nice. The aftertaste is sweet-chocolate thick with a nice smooth chilli-finish. 12/10/11/12

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, süß, schokoladig. Geschmack süß, Karamell, leichte Schärfe, Kaffee. Im Abgang merkt man die Schärfe deutlich.

500 ml. bottle sampled @ "Er Klopt Iemand Op De Deur" Samson & Gert Bierproeving I. Thanks to JorisPPattyn! Average creamy light brown head. Lightly cloudy brown. This being a Baltic porter explains my notes constantly referring to this being a dark lager. Thin lager metallic leather, soap, brown sugar, allspice, grainy chocolate, thin, grainy, mineral, iron lager finish, not very exciting & pretty weak esp. for something that says Grand Imperial Porter on the label.

Clear red brown beer, creamy yellowish head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of caramel, some crème brûlée, sweet, nutty, bread, dairy, lactose. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet, caramel, lactose, grains, hay, cow fodder. Aftertaste: sweet, caramel, yeast, sugary, cow fodder, hay. Smell is way better than the flavour.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of ElDesmadre. Murky black color with medium frothy light brown head, poor lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of dried fruits, dandelion syrup, chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate, follows by fruity acidity, warming mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish.Full body, syrupy texture and average carbonation in palate. Hell of a strong brew; you can’t taste much alcohol, but you feel it quickly...

Good, just yellowish tinted fine & dense head, metallic golden beer. Bit oppressive, intense pale malts" nose, even a bit dusty, faintly milkripe grain. Malt, but with a fine acidity (CO²?), even a bit lactic (??); and some grassy hops. Not very spectacular, but a good balance. Spritzy, bit slick, light to maybe medium bodied. Aftertaste is rather empty and a tad metallic. Certainly better than average Pilsner. Many thanks, Aga & dad!

Good, fine and dense, just yellowish head over golden clear beer. Chalk, grain, bit of malt, lettuce, rainwater. Very malty, sweet pale malts, faintly grassy and faint green herbs. Just a little tip of foasted grains. Warming up, sweeter and sweeter. Feels quite carbonated, light body, faint gristslickness. CO² lends just a touch of acidity. Not much more than a decent (sweetish) Pilsner. Dziękuję, Aga i tatę!
