500ml via Press online. A couple months of shelf life followed by a month of fridge sleep. Bottle bomb by the sink, mostly foam & didn't lose much. Lowball at home.
Clear orange amber, active pour. No end trails in the bottle. Soda head doesn't stick around.
Leathery, waxy, tannic black tea, lemon, slight earthy funk, warming booze nose.
Sharp & tannic fruit forward, strong gueuze leather, medium low bandaid, moderate farm funk, calcium bitterness & browned fruit.
Lovely acid, irritating bubbles, surprisingly strong lingering tannins & texture from kinda average apples.
Tasty.

375ml from Bottlecraft North Park. Drinking down the stash in the hotel room before packing too heavy.
Not quite translucent, half hazy iced tea pour.
Funk, stewed apples, red wine, floral lemon honey tea nose.
Soft funk, bittersharp leaning sweet, black tea & lemon, rum note, a touch oxidized, murky finish.
Spritzy low carb sharp, acidic, on the thin side, a bit boozy.
Decent.

Bottle from Press online. Sat on it about six months between the shelf & the fridge.
Hazy orange amber with a lingering ring of lace.
Strong floral grape, gum, sharp apple nose.
Crazy tannic, pushy astringent, semi-sweet, grassy sharp apples & strong leather; black tea.
Boozy, drying, slightly rich, medium-low but consistent carb.
Great flavor but just kinda good overall.

500ml bottle via Press online. +4 weeks post hurricane. Pint glass, ditched the Solo cup. Hazy dull yellow, bit of lingering froth. Big floral, soft tropical, earthy pear, twangy sweet vinegar nose, succulent papaya finish. Sweet & juicy, low acid, long earthy yeast, middling tartness, Sidra floral, big bittersweet tannic, sweet lemon, drying finish. Just enough cheese funk to be interesting & not be difficult. Very slight oxidation on the tail. Prickly carbonation, astringent body, not much heat. Kinda good.

Brown 500ml bottle via Press online. Quick soda head. Clear, oily medium gold, pint glass pour at home. Vanilla, agave nose. Kinda inviting. Bittersweet with decent astringency. Juicy agave, pleasant tartness, very minor Sidra notes of rubber & bubblegum, slight earthy funk finish with lingering acid. Low carb & just a little extra heat. Good quaff.

Lightly chilled bottle post hurricane on the porch. Clear Solo cup. Pretty, clear, slender, corked bottle. Settled & clear, ruby amber. Yeasty bits at the bottom waiting for that second pour. Perfume-y, band-aid, caramel, slight funk. Hyper astringent bittersweet apples, cherry-flavored crabs, oily oak on the roof of my mouth. Mellow vinegar sweetness melds with the caramel for an old world candy flavor. The total booziness makes the cherry a little medicinal. It's a bit rough & needs a minute to air out, but the concentrated flavor sure is interesting.

12oz can via Press online. Pint glass at home. Lightly hazy, golden hue, quick hitting soda head that leaves still. Plastic, rubber, sweet & oxidized white dessert wine nose. Incredibly macerated & tropical. West coast apples, rubbery, hard phenols, sidra, saline, funked. Pineapple & tequila. Pippins are usually hyper tart & thin on flavor. Boozy. This is more odd & ugly then fun. Hot ferment. Trash panda.

375ml from Press than Press via their spring subscription box. Month lost in the fridge. Pint glass at home. Clear, classy gold pour. Quiet with a slight lingering fizz. Very astringent, veggie & plastic nose. Big veggie, big floral taste. Semi-sweet. Astringent, over-steeped tea/heavy tannins, green grapes, burnt rubber, cedar, caramelized apple, thick apple peel, nettles, slight lemon, oxidation, cream. Hardcore tannins, dry mouth, medium acid, low-mid tart, really stiff abv, creamy with constant carbonation. Love & hate. Sloppy but interesting fermentation.
