Old rating from 28-04-16 - 330ml bottle brought back from my Belgium trip. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with sediment and a small white head. Aromas of coriander, spice, apple, yeast & alcohol. Tastes of spice, apple, coriander, caramel & malt leading to a spicey caramel alcoholic aftertaste.
A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of strong pale malt, straw, hints of vegetables. Taste of strong pale malt, some herbs, grains, wort, moderate bitterness.
Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet malt aroma with caramel, yeast, some ripe fruity and sugary notes. Flavour is fairly sweet with low bitterness. Body is medium. Not for me.
Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is wheat, spicy yeast, coriander, some citrus. Hint of wheaty sourness, light to moderate bitter and mild sweet. Body is medium. Refreshing Wit.
Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is sweet brown malt with caramel, yeasty and spicy notes, some candy sugar and liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body. Decent Belgian Strong Dark.
Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, yeast, spicy notes, notes of stewed fruits including some plum and raisins. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Enjoyable.
Bottle 0,33 ltr: Hazy yellow/ orange with medium sweet niet taste leaning to dryness. Low hints of spices and oranges. Overall quite boring expected more after 20 years not drinking this beer, anymore satan is defeated easily.
