En klassiker, og selv om den ikke føles så grunnvollskakende idag som på 90-tallet, så er det fremdeles et øl med mye personlighet. Mye CO2, og en balanse mellom den, malt og alkohol samtidig som gjærpreget ligger over og slår an tonen.

Dullish tan, doesn't look great. On the nose, it's kind of honeyish like old oxidized malt. Thinnish, sweet, oxidized and bland. Just no.

Light aroma of malt and orange. Very fruity taste: apple, orange and prune. Yeasty with a slight tartness. Some alcohol in the taste. Dry mouthfeel. Unimpressive beer.

Not red, but orange colored. Licorice aroma and flavor. Rather alcoholic. Sweetish with just a bit of malt. Unremarkable beer.

Malty, slightly hoppy aroma. Malty, just a bit sticky flavor. caramelly with just a hint of bitterness, apple and some alcohol. Absolutely drinkable, but bland for a tripel.

Orange golden color, cloudy, creamy head. Apricot aroma. Hoppy flavor with apricot and bitter walnuts. Bitter aftertaste. Not my taste, but certainly not without quality.

Pink color, pinkish dense red. Raspberry aroma. Absolutely dry with floral bitterness. Creamy and hoppy, withb touches of citrus, raspberry and alcohol. Prickly mouthfeel. Different from the "old" Speciale 6 as I remember it, but good enough.

Almost black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a little liquorice and sweet dark malts.

Hazy pale blond colour with thin head. Typically wheaty. This one also has a light citrus note and low sweetness making it quite refreshing.
