Description
Outland is a brewery founded in 2011 on the principles of American « homebrewing » : eclecticism, British and American inspired styles and recipes, technical precision, perpetual creativity and experimentation.

Outland is located in Fontenay-sous-Bois (Val-de-Marne), and the 300 square meter production site includes one brewing system and seven fermentation tanks.

Outland is the first French brewery to develop a range of « brut » beers, which have no residual sugars. Whether it’s our Session IPA, American IPA, or Brut IPA, the spotlight is on the fresh and fruity flavors that come from our hops !

We regularly collaborate with other artisans from a multitude of domains (cocktail, coffee, style, music, arts) to create original and festive events that are centered around the theme of quality « craft ».

Old rating - A reasonable French version of a American India Pale Ale from this Parasian brewery, fruity aromas from the hops coming through at first but ending with a very bitter aftertaste

Old rating - Brought from La Cave a Bulles, an excellent bottle shop in Paris. In 330ml bottle format. expiry date 22 May 2014. Pours a cloudy orange coloured body with a finger-width, off-white head. Aroma is solid with a bunch of citrus pines and florals. A few resins and just a touch of grainy malts. Flavour is bitter and dry. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and an active, moderate carbonation. One of the better French pale ales.

From tap at Planet Oedipus 2018. Yeasty and herbal Saison with pale malt, grass and dill. Flavour is mild sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Very herbal Saison, okay but not really my kind of beer.

Brewed in collaboration with La Fine Mousse. Very light in taste, alcolhol, smell, everything. Too light. Closer to dark water than to a rich beer, nice beer. Therefore no interest whatsoever.

16oz can pours a clear (clear!) orange with some lacey white head. Nose has plenty of soap and citrus, some malt and honey, some pine. Flavor is sticky with honey and pine and soap, some clear orange now, some candy. Finishes fuller bodied than 7.4% would let on, sticky and soapy.

Biere from Paris Region. Sprawa i trwała piana bardzo mętne barwa prawie bursztynowa. Pachnie dzikim bzem i lawenda. W smaku lawenda skórka pszennego chleba, znów lawenda. Dobre wyraziste i chmielne piwo. Zabójczo trwała piana

On tap at Outland Bar, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle yeast and light citrus hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus hops, chalk, and biscuity malt. Decently balanced, with a dry finish.

On tap at Outland Bar, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out gentle coffee and toasted malt. Flavour is subdued, with toasted malt and earthy coffee notes. Pleasantly expressive on the coffee for such a low ABV beer. Good stuff.
