Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a lasting beige head.
Nose is stewed fruits, brown bread, dates.
Taste comprises fruit loaf, sultanas, biscuit, toffee, light herb.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Solid for the style.

Murky orange with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is ripe tropicana, grass, dank chimes, pine nibble.
Taste comprises tangerine, mandarin, ripe melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Okay sessioner.

Golden copper topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is grapefruit, orange peel, grass, bitter orange.
Taste comprises tangerine, grass, crisp malt base, pine needle, grapefruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Tidy enough IPA.

Nose is big on mango pulp, straw, soft malts, papaya.
Taste comprises mango flesh, pineapple, mandarin, soft malts, mixed tropicana.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Okay IPA ... all very 1D mango ... needs a little something else.

Taste comprises bitter tropical fruits, guava, grapefruit, pine resin, hop spice, raw pineapple.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Solid IPA.

Taste comprises mandarin, coconut, passionfruit, guava, lactic tang.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering edge.
Fun sour.

Amber pour with an off white cap that veers to the edge.
Nose is biscuit, grains, herb, straw, bready notes.
Taste comprises biscuit, grass, caramel, toasted grains.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Recipe error? Okay logger-bier but way more into the Marzen camp than any Helles I've ever had!

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at The Old Fire Station. Fawn-coloured head over a deep brown-black body, hanging lacing. Promising smell of roasted cocoa-chocolate malts. Creamy chocolate up front to the taste character, moderate lactose sweetness beneath. Roasted, smooth ending with mid-sweet chocolate malts. Medium bodied. Like it. (Salford, 22.03.2024).

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at The Old Fire Station. Hazy yellowish body, stable white head, clingy lacing. Citric-floral aromas, inviting. Citrus taste, moments of grapefruit. Distant notes of fruity bitterness to the finish. Pretty decent. (Salford, 22.03.2024).

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at The Old Fire Station. Hazy golden body, good lacing from a patchy white head. Promising aromas of peaches. Refreshing hop fruity taste, peaches and orange. Fruity ending, mid-dry. Quite foamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Just okay. (Salford, 22.03.2024).
