On tap at Odin brewing. Pours out a crisp amber topped with a sand head. Nose is light grain some bread and a caramel sweetness. Taste is more of the light grain and a touch of caramel.

12 oz can poured. A copper clear pour with a ton of foam head. I can remember drinking this at the Hilliard’s location years ago. Still weird to see it during my visit to Odin the other day. This seems to be one of the few beers of theirs that is still going strong. Easy drinking lager here, a slightly creamier body than expected. Soft and smooth rich malts. Clean finish. Quite tasty. I can get on board with this one. Something a little different. I like it.

Draft 10 oz pour at Odin. Copper, clean and clear pour with a patchy, active fizz head. Very obvious Brett aroma from a distance. Floral as well. Quite fragrant. Flavor is a very fruity, funky constant. Slightly tart as a result. Some cherry like flavors, a little sweet, but the right amount. Tropical happiness, but beat out by the Brett. Wild IPA here. Like no other I’ve had. Very fun try, and quite enjoyable.

Draft pour pint at Odin, Tukwila. An IPA that sounds way too good to pass up. Slightly cloudy golden pour with an active fizz head. I thought the impressive hop bill would overwhelm here, but it’s quite balanced in aroma and flavor. Grains, and grassy hop aroma. Flavor is a soft juicy fruit, behind a mellow malt. Mosaic seems to stand out more so for me than the Galaxy. Strange. It’s kinda like going to a concert, and the one of the opening acts steals the show. Good beer here. Moral of the rate: always get to the show on time to see the openers.

Has an amber-brown colour. Bubbly head. Crackery, lightly toasty nose. So it looks and smells nothing like a tripel. Sweet, toasty, just a light ester note. This has no particular Belgian influence, but when you adjust to the fact that you’re drinking a strong Brown Ale, you realize it’s pretty good at that.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
The color is almost black, the head is small. The aroma starts with chocolate and rum, then a hint of coconut. It has dry mouthfeel, the roasted flavor comes first, the chocolate is very low, then a touch of roasted coconut, and some rum for a pleasant warming final.
Gimmicky but good.

Golden with a white head. Light citrus, toasted bread, some earth notes, too. A faint sweetness throughout. Healthy full bodied pale ale that would make you think it’s much higher in abv. Lingering bitter citrus finish. A nice surprise. Sub-5% with good flavor and a full body.
