33cl bottle, a gift from friends; poured into a Westmalle Trappist chalice at home on 14th February 2026. Slight haze in the golden body, very short lived white head, fell away to absolutely nothing, no wisp or collar even. Salty overtone and leaning towards 'sour' flavoured, not getting the wild flowers or herbs, or the smokiness they mention either. It is interesting, but it's also a little 'odd'.

Hazy yellow colour, tiny white head. Peach, apricot juicy aroma. Light-bodied. Fruity, sparkling, peach flavour. Okish. PBF XV.

PBF XV. Hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, mild wooden and some oaty tones. Flavour is floral, oaty and some mild nectary tones.

Bottle split at Catraio, Porto, 28/10/22. Lightly hazed golden orange with an off white cap that stays for the show. Nose is bitter orange, grass, toasted grains, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises mixed tropical fruits, malt forward, caramel, pineapple, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light coating of hop bitterness. Passable affair ... malt heavy and lacking balance.

Bottle split at Catraio, Porto, 28/10/22. Golden to light amber topped with an off white head. Nose is malt forward, grains, straw, herb. Taste comprises biscuit, straw, malty, herb, hedgerow, stewed fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... as per the style ... pedestrian.

Draught, half pint. @Artbeerfest 2024, Caminha. 13/07/2024 [#7.553 Global - #307 Portugal - #1 1FdS! (My Portuguese brewery / cidery #85)] Pours light hazed yellow with a white head. Mostly lacing. Aroma: light grassy hops, lemonzest and confectionery. Taste: tangerine and onion. Next one, please!
