Can - pours a hazy yellow with a soapy head - grassy noble hop nose, along with some pepper and faint phenolic spiciness - faint sweetness and a touch of earthy funk - flavor is dry, moderately bitter, lightly tart - some lemon, tettnag spiciness, light mineral dryness - I generally enjoy dry saisons, especially when they’re on the low abv scale - but as a previous reviewer has noted, this one is so attenuated that it comes across as bitter water at times - I think there’s a lot of promise in this recipe though, and I find quite a few enjoyable elements here.

16 oz. can from Leary’s. Born on date of: 05/17/19. “ R.I.P Chewy”. Damn this around a long time. Aroma shows Brett, musty basement, and acid. Flavor has funky wood, lemon rind, sour grapefruit, and some sharp sourness the the glands. Maybe a year ago I would’ve felt differently about this. But right now ... just not my thing

Can from Cap Tap. Pours slightly hazy gold with a nice frothy white head. Aroma of citrus and tropicals. Med body. Flavor is somewhat juicy, yet fairly dry and nicely bitter. Fruits might be grapefruit zest and melon - green. Hints at astringency - so perhaps pineapple? Definitely mixed fruits. Quite tasty.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is a bit de bois - not so much fruits as dust and twigs - some lemon - some breadiness. Med body. Flavor is lemon, yeast/spice, earthy. Could be a little Brett. Dry. The breadiness is well toned down by the hop? flavors. Tastes very good. Wish I could parse the flavors better. Very good ale.
