Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016, day 2 - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. Toasted bread in the nose, light grains toffee. Light to medium sweet flavour with pleasant brown bread character, light caramel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good balance in the finish, some sweet and bready malts. Solid.

Draught at the brewery, 7/16/21. Good clarity in this muted brass-to-straw golden beer. Small, white head shows moderate retention. Hints of lactic acidity, biscuity malts and mild citrus give a surprisingly mild, but still aromatic nose. No alcohol or flaw. Soft and malty in the mouth, with good attenuation, tight carbonation and plentiful dryness. Hints of honey and lots of biscuit with plentiful lactic character, though it never gets much more than tart. Lemony notes and various malt and house barrel character linger on the clean finish. Great amount of flavor for its size.

Draught at the brewery, 7/16/21. Clear, pale, straw-golden with a small but fairly well-retained, white head. Beautiful nose is lightly fruity from the rice/sake yeast (I assume) with a good helping of honey and light biscuit from the malts. Lovely hybrid character but it works wonderfully, I think, being both aromatic and fruity but also having enough acidity/dryness. No alcohol or flaw noted. Soft and malty, yet with a tight carbonation and good biscuity malts on the finish in unison with fruit and honey notes. A bit of rice character keeps it dry and the attenuation is high. Soft, herbal-like hop notes add minimal but appropriate bitterness. Quenching and drinkable. Excellent!
