16oz can from Tavour. Pale, clear golden, small head fades to thin layer. Grainy, biscuity aroma, faint citrus. Taste presents a little tingle right up front, followed by bready notes. The finish is mildly fruity and partially dry with a little bit of lingering bitterness.

A Brewver Top 50 in the Smoked/Rauchbier category. 16 ounce can from Tavour. Lovely amber hued pour is topped by a frothy beige head. Subtle smoked malt aroma is pleasing. Flavor is sweet toasted malt with that underlying smokiness. Notes of toffee and herbal hops. Wonderfully smooth and eminently flavorful.

New style - Silvesterbier
Bready, sharp pine bitterness, but crisp finish. I can taste the German influence with this style mixed in with a hoppy Czech Pilsner. Very unique. Very cool story about the history of this style too!

16 oz. can. Aroma of dark bread, earth, and mineral-rich yeast. Flavor is moderate chocolate, maple, bread crust. Soft characters that are well balanced. On the East Coast, my favorite breweries that make quality lagers are Human Robot and Schilling. This is very close to both of those breweries. Nice!
