Bottle @ home, thanks to homer1399 for sending. Pours a deep brown appearance with a dark brown head. Spicy, burnt roasty malty nose with a little ash and a ton of pine. Moderate high carbonation. A ton of roasted malt and ash in the flavor. Kind of boozy. Thick. Big beer. Not my favorite but ok.

Bottle with thanks to Homer321. Pours redissh black with a large creamy tan head that dissipates slowly and laces well. So far, so good. Aroma is roasty, tobacco, pine. Flavor is medium sweet, quite bitter, very roasty with some tobacco, coffee, pine and a bit of citrus poking through. Full body for the style. Bracing bitterness from start to the far far finish. Touch of anise and molasses in the finish as well. Some heat, but not bad for 10%. Honestly, I was expecting a lot less from this beer.
