This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with a medium sized creamy beige head that lingered. The aroma was light sweet fruity hops and a touch of caramel and pine. The flavor was bitter, dryish and had moderate fruity and floral hops and a light nutty malt undertone. The finish was medium length dry bitter floral hops. Medium body. Decent.

12 ounce bottle shared by velkyal. Pours a pale clear gold color with a medium head. Poor head retention and lacing. Foul aroma. Grainy, malty, sweaty and acrid. Taste is also foul. dirty water, grainy, vegetal and something meaty. Thin bodied and watery.

yipee, another sub par FBC beer. Pours semi hazy golden with thin white head. Aroma is malty, hints of hops, nothing special here. Flavor, hints of pilsener malts, light sweet caramel with some added sweetness in the finish. Crisp and soapy mouthfeel with a lingering malty mouthfeel.

bottle. Pours golden with some haze, light white head. Aroma is light pale malts, some hints f citrus and hay. Flavor, wheat, light hops, not too bad for what it is. Crisp finish, citrus. Another mediocre FBC beer that has the talent of having a little something going for it. Ends a little bitter and skunky, typical of many pale lagers.

Pours clear gold with watery looking edges and 40 second white head. The meek aroma is grainy with malts and a offers up a touch of floral hops. The taste is similar with grainy malts, sugar sweet malts and floral hops. Overall it’s a tad on the sweet side.

Why make a pilsner light? I guess I’ll find out. It poured pale watery gold with decent 60 second white head. The aroma is grainy with a touch of lemon acidity and faint floral hops. The taste is watery neutral and feebly sloshing up notes of grains and acidity. It tastes like seltzer water with a very thin lemon wedge sunk into it. I think I’ll choose water over this stuff. So, apparently I’m not a fan of Pilsner Lights.

Clear golden orange with a very small white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Flavor of malt with some caramel candy, mildy bitter finish. Not too exciting, but better than many in Florida.
