Amber color, compact head. Quite good malt, caramel and cereals combination; light residual sweetness; fairly strong bitterness.
Uncomplicated but nice.

2008-03-05, bottle at Rover, Göteborg; great generosity of Pelle; 5-3-6-2-10=26
Deep blond color; creamy head. It has an evident dry caramel character, like a Vienna, but this one doesn’t show the Saaz. Too ordinary.

Amber color; creamy head. Nice, mild aroma of caramel and Saaz. Medium body strength; it has a dry caramel flavor, with some cereals, and the hop is a bit lost here. Pleasant.

Golden color; it actually has a nice malt profile, and a moderate grassy touch.

Blond color; nice small bubbles, but not enough to gain extra points. I’m quite surprised to find some continental hop in the aroma, light but very nice. The flavor is strange, as it is 70% Pilsner (good crispy malt), and 30% cheap Lager (there is some paper-like flavor); the mouthfeel is very dry, mostly at the end; it has a correct bitterness. A positive attempt to brew a good Pilsner.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very malty, while the flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel and a slight tickle on the tongue from the alcohol. Thanks Emil for bringing this beer to Denmark.

Bottled. an amber beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, though added a light note of metal, leading to a dry bitter and slightly metallic finish. Thanks to Emil for bringing this home from Iceland.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear, golden with a small, white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium-bodied, sweetish malty with some floral accents. Light notes of sulphur before a dry finish. Kinda like a German Helles. 120108
