Bottled(330ml). -Pours a clear amber (nearly cola coloured) colour with medium sized white head and odd herbal coffee nose. Mild roasted malt and caramel aroma with slight chicory and mild hoppy notes. Bitter finish and overal quite thin.

Brown colour, with almost no head. Aroma and flavours are of beef broth indeed. Heat and mix with port, mustard and shallots to form a nice sauce which goes excellent with beef tenderloin.

Clear brown color, short head. Aroma of some faint hop, bit fruity, malty, ’runderbouillon’ as Bullit described it :). Quite boring.

Bottled at RBESG ’07, thanks Kalli! Clear amber colour. Refreshingly dry with lovely firm, nutty malt. Near all flavours derives from roasty malt. There’s butter and wood. The mouthfeel is light but firm and the finish carefully salty. By far and away the best Icelandic beer I’ve ever had!

Bottled, thanks Mal3! Clear deep golden, fairly small head. Evident saaz hop aroma. Sweet with solid, buttery malt. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel and a fair amount of bitterness. Very similar to Pilsner Urquell. By far the best Icelandic beer I’ve tried.
